Happy Reformation Day
My 3 little FAIRIES and PETER PAN enjoyed a beautiful night of collecting candy at Grandmas and Grandpas... The weather was gorgeous, the costumes were cute and the candy was plentiful. Here are a few captured memories from this years dress up day...
The Fuel Behind My Busy Days...
Every morning, after spending time in the Word, I pull out my trusty planner and review my day. I am a schedule maniac- everything has to be written down and lists are made. I LOVE my journal/planner from Starbucks- and I LOVE my cup of Joe....

Boo At the Zoo
This weekend, the zoo had a VERY fun (and crowded) event for Halloween called, "Boo at the Zoo." I was so excited to take the family because the theme was super heroes and I remembered some GREAT photos from my friend Rene's Facebook page last year when they all dressed up as The Incredibles. So, I put together 6 costumes for our family to look incredible!
I had to work Saturday from 10:30 to 3, so we thought we'd go right when it opened at 9 am and stay an hour and then leave. Well, we drove the 20 minutes to get there and when we arrived there were SO many people that by the time we waited in line to get into the zoo, we would have had to turn around and come right back so I could get to work. So, after much explaining and reassuring that we would return after mommy was done with work, we left.
We did return after my shift was over and spent around 2 hours trick or treating. I can't tell you how many compliments we got on our "look". People were constantly stopping us to take our pictures! It was funny! The girls got a good stash of candy and I felt pretty incredible that I pulled it all off ( with the help of my handsome, incredible super-hero husband!)

Winter's Coming
So, I know the winter season is upon us because sickness has befallen my home. Ella started the ball rolling with a runny nose and fever and then it spread to Sophia then to me, next to Arianna and lastly to Elijah. (Mark has managed to avoid it so far.) So as of today, all 4 of us have red, runny noses and the tissue box is my new best friend- oh, how I dread the cold season....

Pumpkin Pickin
I LOVE FALL... Alyssa, Christie and I went with our kiddos plus Maddie to a Pumpin Patch about an hour away. It was so much fun although very crowded. The kids went on rides and picked "baby" pumpkins! My family had to leave early since my twins were SO afraid of the bees and flies and really couldn't enjoy themselves! Oh well, this fear will hopefully go away soon... Until then, I have to deal with irrational little 4 yr olds...But here are some of my favorite pics...
Elijah
I can't believe that my little boy is almost 4 months old. He is SO cute (I know that I'm biased!) He is sleeping for about 7 hours at a time and then wakes to eat and goes back to sleep till about 6am. He loves to laugh and coo and even started whining the other day (oh, great!) He had a doctor appt the other day and weighs just under 15 lbs. I love this little guy!!
Ella Bella
She has her ups and downs but overall is a very HAPPY little girl, although she is a STINKER! She loves to tag along after her sisters and grab Elijah's hands to sing Ring Around the Rosy. She eats absolutely everything and is not picky at all. She has started to talk up a storm... here are some of my favorites of the many phrases and words she uses!
"ohhhh" (after everything you tell her)
"Bee, mommy, bee!!"(about every 5 minutes whether there is a bee or not)
"Juice pees" (please)
"lellow" (yellow)
"woo woo" (dogs)
"Daddy, home?"
"poppy's house" (grandpa)
"cheese" (when she sees my camera)and about 100 others...
PRAYER
What a great church sermon yesterday... I really needed the message on prayer... I can get SO consumed with my everday mothering duties in MY strength that I forget that I need to have that constant communication with my God about my day. I constantly IM Mark during the day about little things, but I don't constantly stay in touch with my Savior when the kids start fighting or when the money isn't there to pay the bills. I started reading "The Valley of Vision"- Puritan Prayers- what an encouragement...
"Lord, I give up all my own plans and purposes,
All my own desires and hopes,
And accept Thy will for my life.
I give myself, my life,my all
Utterly to Thee to be Thine forever.
Fill me and seal me with Thy Holy Spirit.
Use me as Thou wilt.
Send me where Thou wilt.
Work out Thy whole will in my life
at any cost,
now and forever."

Look Whose 30!!
Since Daddy had his big 30th Birthday on October 8th, we decided to throw him a Spiderman Party- per request of Sophia. The twins are fascinated with Spiderman- who knows why? They've never seen the movie or show. Anyway, it was a good time...
Make a wish! Daddy got new dress shoes, The Office season 4, a new antenna for our tv, money, Dunkin coffee and a new lense for our camera. And the best present of all...
Getting to see MAC POWELL and Third Day in concert!!! It was great!
