Summer Flashback: Elitches

We love reading programs in the summer, especially Denvers. They give you a FREE Elitch ticket!
The kids look forward to it all year. We ended up going in August after school started and it was perfect. The weather was cool and even on a Saturday, it was virtually empty. And there were hardly no lines. We stayed from 10am-8pm:) It was a blast!

Ella and I rode the Tower of Doom- I couldn't believe she did it with me:)

Celebrating Friendship

Our dear, sweet friends, Cole and Katelyn, leave for another country today. The tears are flowing as I think of what they mean to our family and how God is going to use them greatly! They love the country and the people more then anything. And I know it's their hearts desire to spread the Gospel there and I feel selfish wishing they could stay. They have become part of our family over the past year as part of our Missional Community Group. They have selflessly babysat our kids many times. They have challenged me in my walk with Christ. They have recommended awesome hikes in CO! They have walked along with us for the last year and they will be greatly missed by our family.
Our MC threw them a little goodbye party with delicious Chinese food and dancing.
It was a blast celebrating their friendship:)

These were of the twins in July when Sophia cut her hair so they would be true twins:)

Horse Back Riding

Elijah got to attend his friend Rory's Birthday party at Bear Creek Stables. It was a fantastic party and the kids got to ride the ponies. Ella came with and we were going to drop and leave but Rory's family invited Ella to stay and ride as well- she was thrilled:)
