Happy 9th Birthday to my Ella Bella {January 6,2016}

Can't believe my youngest daughter turned NINE!

Ella celebrated her 9th birthday with ice skating at Southglenn, like last year.
You can't beat free skating on Wednesdays!
We did a little Hot Cocoa bar and she wanted Star Wars napkins!

She then got to celebrate with dinner with Uncle Kenny and Aunt Mary at Maggiano's!
That was amazing! The feast of food we enjoyed was out of this world!

Then we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa!
So blessed that Ella has so many wonderful people in her life
that love her and pour into who she is as a person!

Staying Fit: Hop-A-Thon, Fun Run and Powell Track

I love that our schools have many outlets to promote health and fitness with our kiddos!
 Hop-A-Thon 2015
PTO sponsored event that raised around $11,000 this year for our school!

 Fun Run 2015
Our Hopkins kiddos run up the hill to Twain Elementary and then we all run back together.
The PTO buys a Hopkins T-shirts for every kid in the school- just LOVE this tradition!

Our PE teacher runs this event for the school.
 Powell Track and Field

The twins signed up for this after school and I was so proud of them for trying!
Can't even believe they could jump over those hurdles.
 long jump

100 meter dash
Love that they are growing up with lots of exercise!

Elijah's Zoo Field Trip and Ella Visits the Police Station

I got to go to the Denver Zoo with Elijah for his field trip.
He got paired up with his friend Connor and this was my group! So fun!

After the zoo field trip, Ella had her last girl scout activity.. a trip to the Denver Police Station.
It was a fun time and the guys at the station were so generous and kind and patient with the kiddos.
They taught them about safety and let them ride a cool tricycle course.
The girls made cards for the officers and put them in their boxes.
The guys even had cake for them!
