Sophia

Sophia is the oldest of our twin girls and seems to be the "follower" of the two. She reminds me so much of Mark. She likes to be home rather than at crowded places. She doesn't talk much and tends to go off by herself. She too is very AFRAID of everything like Arianna. She really likes computer games on the MAC of course ( remind you of anyone? ) I love my Sophia... Its amazing how different her and Arianna are from each other. I conducted teh same interview as Arianna and here are her responses...
Here are a few of her favorites... ( I typed as she answered the questions)
1. Favorite color- GREEN
2. Favorite animal- giraffes, bears and flamingos
3. Favorite candy- candy bars

6. Favorite teacher- Mrs. Solich- her cubby teacher at church
7. Favorite place to go- Aunt Emys house to jump on the trampoline

UNNIE

Arianna, or Unnie, as Sophia called her when they were little, is the second oldest twin in our family. She is 4 years old and has a mind of her own. LAtely, she has been afraid of EVERYTHING. This is not fun for mom.
When we go outside, she and her sister look warily around for any type of bug that may venture in their path. If a bug is seen, screams of terror follow.
When, she lays in bed, she searches the room for scary shadows and NEEDS us to rub her back till she falls asleep, becasue she is afraid of the dark.
When, I have finished grocery shopping, and want to to run the groceries in while they are still in the car, she cries because I left her all alone.
I do pray that these fears subside soon, so I don't have 2 crying and screaming 4 yr olds (since Sophia is just as afraid as Arianna and follows the same patterns as her sister)
She is ADORABLE though and very loving...
Here are a few of her favorites... ( I typed as she answered the questions)
1. Favorite color- PINK
2. Favorite animal- baby tigers, baby elephants and baby koala bears
3. Favorite candy- chocolate
4. Favorite game- Memory
5. Favorite song- "Only a Boy Named David"
6. Favorite teacher- Miss Curry
7. Favorite place to go- Aunt Emys House
8. Favorite food- Mac and Cheese
9. Favorite toy- I just want a lot of toys for Christmas
10. Favorite restuarant- the one that has a play place
11. Favorite thing about school- her lunch box (I jut got her one today, even though they don't eat at school- we need it for the zoo)

Happy Birthday to you...

The twins always enjoy going to birthday parties.. friends, cake, games and goodie bags make it a very exciting event for them. Ella has picked up on the excitement and tags along to most parties!

Brenna's party was held at Clement Park on a blistery sunny day. Caramel apples, made by the talented Alyssa, topped off the feeling of fall. After the craft, food and presents, the girls all played till it was time to go.

I am so glad that my girls have made good friends here in Colorado, and I pray daily that they will always have godly, christian friends to share lifes enjoyments!
Happy Birthday, Brenna!

MORE TO COME...

Well, my lovely little Ella has somehow misplaced my camera cord. I keep thinking that any day I will come across it and then be able to post about all the things going on in our lives, but I still have not come across it. So,my camera is filled to the brim with memories that I hope to get off tonight using my hubbies computer skills. So, stay tuned for LOTS of news about our family!!

A Quick Trip to PA...

So, I was able to make a trip to PA last weekend with Elijah and I had SUCH a good and refreshing time with my family! Elijah did just awesome on the plane- his first ride- which I forgot to capture with a picture:( I was able to see my parents "new" house which was absolutely beautiful! They moved into my Nanny's house (which was my Great Grandmas before that) after she passed away and after a TON of remodeling was done to bring it into the 20Th century. I was able to see my brother and two step sisters and 3 of my nephews and my Grammy. Eating my moms home cooking was another special treat as was Dunkin Donuts coffee!! Oh, the JOY!! I can still taste it... Thanks Mom and Tim for flying me in and for the memorable time spent catching up in person!

P.S. I Love You

So, I just watched a very sad movie that my sister-in-law lent me. I cried more times than I can count and don't think I'll watch it again. It is about how a wife deals with the death of her husband- too sad for me. I could never imagine loosing Mark. Not only is he an AWESOME help with the kids-he is my Companion, my Best Friend, my CONFIDANT, the Love of my life.

Elijah and Clara's First Play Date

Our dear little ones enjoyed a nice relaxing morning playing, sleeping and eating. Usually they are both asleep when we have play dates, but they actually played on the butterfly for a good 20 minutes! I LOVE having good friends that have babies- they understand what I'm going thru each and every day raising my children. I love ya, Erika and thank God for our friendship...
