I am my love's, my beloved is mine

Arise, my love, my lovely one come,
Winter is past and the rains are gone.
The flowers appear, it's the season of song,
My beautiful one, arise and come with me.
Who is it that appears like the dawn?
As fair as the moon, as bright as the sun?
Show me your face, let me hear your voice.
My beautiful one, arise and come with me.
Set me like a seal on your heart,
For love is unyielding as the grave.
The flash of it is a jealous fire,
No flood can quench
for love is as strong as death.

Arise my love and come with me
Before the dawn breaks and the shadows flee.
You ravished my heart with just one glance
My beautiful one, arise and come with me.
Do not arose or awaken love
Until it so desires.
Arise, my love, my lovely one come,
The Winter is past and the rains are gone.
The flowers appear, it's season of song,
My beautiful one, arise and come with me.
I am my love's, my beloved is mine.
Arise and come with me.

Girls Night Out- Happy Birthday Melody!

Our dear friend, Mel, had a birthday right after Christmas,
so we surprised her and took her out to dinner
at The Elephant Bar and Grille
and then to a night at The Magnolia-
a swanky hotel downtown.
Its nice for us moms to get away from everything for a night
and sleep uninterrupted
and spend some quality time with friends:)
and a milk and cookie bar!
Yes, you heard that right
chocolate milk
white milk
strawberry milk
and LOTS of cookies..
The hotel had a nice lounge area where we could chat
and eat our delicious bedtime treat!

We love you , Mel, and are so glad that you were born so we could celebrate with you!!

Festivities

Christmas Eve we celebrated at our place with Emy, Valerie, and Avery, Tina and Matt, Great Grandma and Roberto. The food was amazing- honey baked ham, scalloped potatoes, green beans, salad, creamed corn, jasmine rice, and banana pudding and strawberry trifle for dessert.
MMMMMM!!!! My mouth is still watering!
 It was great!

We missed Grandma and Grandpa and Alex this Christmas!
(they were in Bolivia)
It wasn't the same without them:)

On Christmas Day, we had the Lutz family over for an Italian Christmas dinner!
We had lasagna, fettuccine alfredo, garlic bread and salad!
It was all SO very good!

I made a bunch of gifts this year, mainly throw pillows and jewelry!
Oh, and an apron, which I forgot to get a picture of.
It turned out really cute!
I already have ideas for next years homemade gifts-
I should get started now!

Christmas Tradition

Every year we take the kiddos to White Fence Farm for a picture with Santa- this Santa is free and oh, so kind, and the best part of all there is NO line! It's very relaxed and Fun!
The kids usually act all scared at first but then warm up to them a tiny bit.

 maybe not Elijah though!
After Santa, we make our Starbucks trip and get hot chocolate for the little ones.
I think this is the only time all year that they get to go into Starbucks:)

We invited Megan along this year:)
Then we look at Christmas lights and sing Christmas songs with the radio!
Oh, how I love traditions!

We love Miss Megan!

I have so many blog posts to catch up on from last year:)
Mainly, our many Christmas celebrations and traditions.
So, check back often as I may even post more than one post a day!

So, my dear sweet friend (and boss at Gymboree)
has become a very special part of our family-
she attends every important event in our families lives:)
and often babysits for free for us!
What a HUGE blessing she is to our family!
The kids adore her (and call her Miss Meggie)
and I'm pretty fond of her myself!

Megan got all the kids pillow pets for Christmas and she got Mark and I an amazing gift- dinner, a movie and free babysitting- which we are going to use this Tuesday since it is our anniversary!
She spoils us!
Thank you Megan for being so awesome!
Megan has a red couch so I made these festive throw pillows to "Christmas" up her couch:)
We love you Megan and "Thank You" for such wonderful gifts
and more importantly for your wonderful friendship!

Merry Christmas From the Gomez Family!

Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas morning!

My heart is full with thankfulness for my wonderful family
and the OVER ABUNDANCE of blessing God has given to me!
But most importantly, the gift of God's Son- deity come to earth to save a fallen people.
Praise God for redemption and Praise God for the gift of Jesus Christ!~
