Using our Pool

This was the first time we have used the pool since it opened on Memorial Day- its been pretty rainy here. But I decided to take the kids for a quick swim. Well, the pool opens at 10am- we were there at 9:55 and the guy was cleaning it- he said we had to wait- thinking it would only be a minute, we waited. After 40 minutes of waiting I was furious! I called the office and complained. The cleaning guy was so rude to me too- how frustrating!
But, we finally got in the water and daddy joined us on his lunch break- so FUN!

Sisterly Love

My girls LOVE to dress up as Princesses or Ballerinas- I found this great Snow White dress at Goodwill for $2 and it was in great condition and a great deal seeing as they are around $40 brand new! Here is a pic and video of my twins...

I Will Rise

My new favorite song by Chris Tomlin is so emotional that
everytime I hear it in the car, I start to cry.
(i'm crying as I type this post right now)
The words are SO powerful and represent
the longing I know I have to see my Savior.
This life is filled with sorrow and pain and one day we will be free from that- praise the Lord!
So many families I know are going thru great trials right now and what an encouragement to know that SOON God will call us to HIM where no tears will ever fall and we will worship the ONE who conquered death for us...

There's a peace I've come to know
Though my heart and flesh may fail
There's an anchor for my soul
I can say, It is well

Jesus has overcome
and the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

Chorus:
And I will rise
When He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise, on eagle's wings
Before my God
fall on my knees,
and rise...
I will rise

There's a day that's drawing near
when this darkness breaks to light
and the shadows disappear
and my faith shall be my eyes

Jesus has overcome
and the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won
He is risen from the dead

And I hear the voice of many angels sing
Worthy is the Lamb!
And I hear the cry of every longing heart
Worthy is the Lamb!

And I hear the voice of many angels sing
Worthy is the Lamb!
And I hear the cry of every longing heart
You are worthy! You are worthy!
Worthy is the Lamb!

I will rise
when He calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise, on eagle's wings
Before my God
fall on my knees,
and rise...
I will rise....
I will rise....

A Good Reminder

My husband leaves his computer on when he leaves for work and he has about 20 tabs open because he never closes things after he is done looking at them (a funny difference between the 2 of us) Well, I was looking thru his tabs and came across a sight called Pyromaniacs:Setting the World on Fire... It is a blog that discusses spiritual things that I have seen my husband frequent regularly. I read the post that the author had written. It was entitled, "Sister Show Mercy"- here is a link- click on it and read for yourself.

I know I was convicted and challenged to think of OTHERS before putting on my outfits for these hot summer days that are ahead.
