Happy 9th Birthday to my Ella Bella {January 6,2016}

Can't believe my youngest daughter turned NINE!

 Ella celebrated her 9th birthday with ice skating at Southglenn, like last year.
You can't beat free skating on Wednesdays!
We did a little Hot Cocoa bar and she wanted Star Wars napkins!

She then got to celebrate with dinner with Uncle Kenny and Aunt Mary at Maggiano's!
That was amazing! The feast of food we enjoyed was out of this world!

Then we celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa!
So blessed that Ella has so many wonderful people in her life
that love her and pour into who she is as a person!

Celebrating 14 years as husband and wife: January 4,2016

So very thankful to have this man by my side for the past 14 years.
He is kind and loves me well.
 We found a groupon for a restaurant close by and as 8PM rolled around, we noticed a ton of single people coming in and we quickly realized it was a speed dating event! It was so awesome to watch and talk about how thankful we were that we never have had to be single for a long time! And how very brave these people are to put themselves out there like that! It was such a fun date night!
And I got some beautiful flowers!

Christmas Vacation Road Trip: New Year's Eve Chicago {Part 3}

 We spent New Years Eve at LegoLand:)
They had a special balloon countdown at 6PM that the kids could partake in!
 It was a really cool museum!

 We had a late dinner at this fun restaurant that did a countdown on the hour,
complete with noise makers and fancy cups to toast in the new year!
It was super fun and we were back at the hotel by 10PM!

 The next day, I was able to catch up with on old college friend, Jeni! It was great to see her!
Then we packed up and made a 7 hour drive to Nebraska, stayed at a hotel and drove the rest of the way home the next day. It was a wonderful trip and I'm so thankful we could do this together before a new year begins!
