On July 20th, you both entered our lives and we would never again be the same. You have filled our hearts with love and we have enjoyed watching you grow into little ladies. Your funny sense of humor makes us laugh. Your sweet hugs and kisses make us feel loved and needed. Your sensitivity towards God makes us humbled and your sweet little faces make us honored to be your parents! We love you girls! may you have many more wonderful birthdays ahead!

Belleview Park and Bear Creek Park

This has been the week for GREAT parks! Below are some pictures of Bear Creek Park- it is AWESOME! They have redone the whole thing and it is beautiful! And the best thing is that Grandma and Grandpa live RIGHT next to it, so we headed over to explore(early before the crowds came) I just LOVE the rustic, western feel of the place...
we will definitely be going again, SOON!

The next park is called Belleview Park and I cant believe that I have never been there in the 2 yrs we have lived in Colorado! It has a petting farm and a train and a GREAT creek to wade in- we have been there at least 3 times since finding it this past week! The girls play for hours in the water while I rest in the shade and watch- its a GREAT find!

Play Dates

Sarah and her crew came by one morning and we treated ourselves to SUSHI- yum!


I am SO thankful that I am able to stay at home and be a mom for my full time job! I really can't express in words my thankfulness to my husband for realizing the importance of me staying home to mold and guide the young minds placed in my care. And the bonus to staying home is PLAY DATES! I SO enjoy getting together with other moms who are in the same "stage" of life as me- rearing small children. We understand each other- the struggles with potty training, whining, stubbornness, consistency,etc.

Lydia and Lynnea came by another morning to enjoy the slip and slide. We loved the complimenting bathing suits!

If any of you stay at home moms want to stop by for a visit with your kids any morning, please call me and we can set it up! I SO enjoy talking to adults while the kids play!
Or if you are not a stay at home mom, you are invited as well, for dinner!
(Bonus: evenings are much cooler!)

Musuem of Nature and Science Free Day

I took the kiddos to the FREE day at the Museum- it was NOT for little kids- I asked Sophia when we left if she had fun and she said, "No, not really". Oh well, at least it was free!
