PA Trip: Jersery Shore (days 1 and 2)

 

The twins and I had the awesome opportunity to got to PA for 6 days. The plane ride was so easy and the twins did great! We flew into Philly and my friend Jess Booth works as an air traffic controller for the Philly Airport. I told her I was flying into Philly the day we left. So, as we were going down into Philly, the captain says over the intercom, "We would like to welcome Chastity Gomez to Philadelphia. And since she's on board the tower is going to give us priority in landing:)" The twins couldn't believe that the pilot knew my name. 

 Of course, Jessica had told him to give me a shout- out! Pretty cool! 

When we got to Grandma's house, the girls enjoyed some yummy home baked cookies.

 The next day we went to....

  Point Pleasant Beach.. Jersey Shore

The twins just LOVED the ocean! It was the first time (they remember) going in the ocean. The water was in the 70's and SO warm. We spent hours surfing the waves and after a few times, the girls didn't even hold our hands out in the deep part. They even got pummeled a few times!  We went up on the boardwalk and the played some games that I used to play as a little girl with my grandparents every summer. Such memories! We also had some out of this world, lobster roll.

It was a fun day!
