Speckled

Elijah is covered over every inch of his body with red bumps. (these pictures really dont show the extend of the speckles- I couldnt get a good one) Poor little guy. I actually took him to the ER last night around midnight because his face is swollen, especially around his ears and throat and this rash is just multiplying. They said it was just a virus and his ears look okay although his throat is red and they sent me home an hour later. He really is doing okay just wants to be held all the time and wants to sleep with me in MY bed and nurse and cuddle all night long (yeah, not getting much sleep) So, please pray that this yucky rash disappears soon...
Look at his swollen little cheeks and neck

Everyone is giving him lots of attention:)

Oh no! Chas!! I just can't believe it! It's not chicken pox? Was he in the nursery yesterday?

The doc said it just looks like a virus???? I dont know- I guess I should trust her, but it is ALL over and they are big red bumps. He wasnt in church at all yesterday- Ella stayed home because of her eye so mark just kept Elijah home too- good thing! So, Clara's safe:)

Poor little thing. And I feel so bad for you and Mark with kids that keep getting sick. You must be even more exhausted than ever. So sorry! I am glad he didn't go to the nursery for sure, then.

Did you realize next week is our nursery week, and we won't get to watch FireProof b/c of being in the nursery! I am so disappointed. :(

with all that attention they are giving him, don't be surprised if they all get it! :( i wish i could bottle up some of my immune system for kids who get sick--it makes me so sad!

POOR LITTLE GUY! My Elijah got that once also....not as bad, but it looked bad and I got worried.
Hope you get some sleep!

Oh Chas! I'm so sorry for your little guy!! SO sad! Just make sure to get after those doctors if he doesn't get better. Sometimes they can be wrong even though they are "suppose" to be so smart. Don't ignore those motherly instincts just because a "doctor said such and such". And I'm only saying that because I think I worried for you too! (I'd let my kid sleep in my bed too if he was that sick..poor, poor baby...)
