The past 2 weeks, I have been eating salsa almost every day. I crave homemade salsa- if I new it weren't impossible, I'd think I was preggo again. I make a bowl every day and eat it all in one sitting! My inlaws always make homemade salsa, so I thought I'd give it a try and I am hooked!
Here is my recipe... (actually Marks dads recipe:) 2-3 tomatoes bunch of cilantro 2 green onions tsp of lemon juice 1 jalopeno pepper- this is where it gets tricky- I have made 2 batches that burned my tongue off, but I think I have it- use only a quarter to half of the seeds inside. (the seeds make it hot) garlic- dont use the whole clove or it gets too strong (learned the hard way and all night at church I smelled my garlicy breath!) Throw all of these FRESH ingredients into a food processor and chop for a few minutes and PRESTO- fresh salsa! Oh, I also add half an avocado and salt
